Words by A. Nemesis
The ink starts here.
I’m a poet shaped by disillusionment, fire, and the long ache of silence.
My work lives in the space between softness and steel, the personal and the political, the wound and the weapon.
I write for the ones who carry too much, speak too little, and still keep going. For those shamed for softness, survival, or simply existing too loudly.
I chose the name Nemesis not as a threat, but as a reclamation. Like the goddess of justice and retribution, I write to restore balance—to remember what the world tries to erase, and to confront what power tries to prettify.
This isn’t vengeance. It’s clarity. It’s memory. It’s ink that doesn’t flinch.
I write because forgetting is easy—and that’s what they count on.
Because poetry holds what power erases.
Because silence is not safety, and survival is not enough.
I write what was never meant to be said.
For the ones who carry too much and still aren’t allowed to take up space.
For those told to shrink, to stay soft, to be quiet—and who survived anyway.
Red, White, & Bruised is a protest stitched in verse—documenting the quiet betrayals,
systemic greed, and silenced rage that shape American life. It doesn’t come from a
place of patriotism lost, but from the realization that the dream was never designed for
all of us in the first place.
These poems move through manufactured nationalism, corporate exploitation, bodily
autonomy, racial injustice, and generational fatigue. The lines are direct, unapologetic,
and often laced with dark wit. They do not flinch from the machinery that rewards a few
and discards the rest.
Through sharp verse and tender fury, this work explores the American dream as myth,
memory, and battlefield. Each poem dares to speak what’s been buried: politics, protest,
womanhood, race, and power. And it asks, who pays for the promise of freedom?
Whether you're grieving, fighting, or just trying to make sense of it all, this book is for you.

This is where it begins.
A free collection for those who need a place to start, to question, to feel seen.
This Is the Spark introduces the voice behind Red, White, & Bruised through a curated set
of poems that refuse to stay silent. These pages dig into what we’re taught to trust:
patriotism, power, gender, justice. They lay bare the contradictions we carry.
These aren’t polished pledges or pretty metaphors. They are pressure points. Wounds
that remember. Sparks that catch.
IIf you’ve ever wondered whether the problem was you, or whether it was the system built
to break you, these poems offer a different answer.
Read them slowly. Let them burn.
